My name is Denice L. Joseph and I am a counsellor and life coach based in Chester, Cheshire. I have worked in Mental Health services for 19 years. Please continue reading to see how we might work together.
I offer a safe, non-judgemental therapeutic environment for you to process your thoughts and feelings
I am a Integrative Counsellor working with children, young people and adults. I will draw upon different modalities that will be tailored to your needs.
I am a general Counsellor and work with all issues and I have extensive experience in bereavement, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, rape and sexual abuse amongst other fields.
I am a certified Life Coach which entails empowering the individual to achieve their goals in the quickest time possible.
Holistic Treatments
I am a firm believer in working holistically with clients and offer the
following treatments:
- Hopi ear candling with facial pressure point massage (40 minutes)
- Indian head massage (45 minutes)
- Hot Stones Massage - full body (60 minutes)
- Sports Massage - full body (60 minutes)
- Full body aromatherapy massage (60 minutes)
- Reflexology (40 minutes)
- Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage (40 minutes)
These treatments are offered separately to the counselling service.

My location
I am based in Chester town centre, and see clients from Frodsham and Flintshire, as well as the wider Cheshire area. Sessions are held face-to-face. Please contact me for a free 15 minute consultation.
Sessions and fees
Sessions are generally once a week but this can vary. Sessions run for 50 minutes. Initially the timeline will be six sessions, followed by a review to see if any extension is needed. The tariffs are per session.
- £45 student counsellors.
- £45 for children and young people from the ages of 4 to 18.
- £50 for life coaching.
- £55 for adults.
Coping skills workshops
- Narcissistic abuse workshop. £200 for a four hour session.
- Anxiety workshop. £150 for a three hour session.
- Sleep Hygiene workshop. £100 for a two hour session.
